What happens next? explores the intimate connection between our internal emotional landscapes and the shifting terrains of the natural world. Inspired by monumental rock formations and exposed soil strata, each work is formed through the layering of thrown clay made up of reclaim and locally dug clay. Rough, cracked surfaces reveal embedded fragments — traces of past activity and transformation. Nothing stands still.
