about
For a number of years I worked within the Creative Industries from performing arts and record companies to galleries and schools. I am now concentrating on making art and working as a creative facilitator.
I graduated with a BA in Ceramics from Central Saint Martins, London (2021), and use my materials as expressive tools to communicate ideas - whether utilising the recognisable tile or a more meditative and abstract use of clay in moving image.
My conceptual output asks the viewer to look up close and appreciate detail when addressing issues concerned with our environment, both urban and natural. Edges and the marks of making are all part of how I express the dichotomy of life - nothing is perfect or resolved.
I am a member of the long established artist collective Crouch End Open Studios, and the newly formed CLAN Collective, whilst maintaining my link with music as a trustee of the youth jazz organisation Tomorrow’s Warriors.
